My past few times browsing Target, I've come across the Rae wellness products.

The packaging is simple and effective and definitely had me questioning what they were for. Upon closer look, each product is aimed at a specific purpose including metabolism, collagen boosters, energy booster, sleep assistance, and more!
I am currently the heaviest that I've been since I graduated from college (roughly 40 lbs gained in almost a decade) and I am definitely in the mindset to become a fit and healthier version of me. I don't necessarily think that losing weight is the priority, more so the fitness aspect, but I do think that I could shed 15 to 20 and happily split the difference between my previous and current weight.
After more research on their website, I've found that they focus on women's wellness and aim to do so with a holistic approach. I love this concept, as I am not a huge fan of unnecessary medications. They also tout their lack of preservatives, no added sugar, no-GMO, vegan, gluten-free, and are free of dyes and fillers. Rae also hosts a wellness blog to promote and explain their large line of health and beauty products, assisting you in deciphering how to fit their products into your lifestyle.
I will say that I am a bit apprehensive about these kinds of products but found out, after a quick online search, that the main ingredients in the Metabolism drops are noted to have the effects I am looking for.
Raspberry Ketones - WebMD notes that studies have shown this chemical to boost the body's natural metabolism and to offer a slight appetite suppression. There was apparently an entire Dr. Oz episode dedicated to the "miracle fat-burner". It also states that there are not extensive studies to show that this information is 100% accurate.
Taurine - This chemical is considered an amino acid and is often found in energy drinks. It is apparently quite helpful for many medical conditions such as congestive heart failure, high blood pressure (which I have been on the cusp of), liver disease, and cystic fibrosis. Medical News Today states that it can assist with metabolism, as it increases the bile production by the liver that facilitates additional fat-burning capabilities. It is also said to assist with muscle function, which is great for someone who is looking to lose weight and is utilizing fitness as an option.

After trying the dropper full of colorless "flavorless" solution in my water, I could taste a slight fruit adjacent taste but not strong enough that I would say it is flavored. I am excited to see if this does anything for me but am not set on this being my only approach to being healthier and slimming down a bit. I'm currently in my 3rd month of OrangeTheory and am really enjoying the strides toward a healthier and happier me!
I'll be sure to check back in if anything of note comes up! Let me know your thoughts and if you've tried anything with these key ingredients!

**I am not a doctor, not that anyone would think I was, so a simple online search gave me this information. Please make sure to consult your doctor and use best judgment when trying new medications and supplements.
