Christmas Decor Haul

Hello again!

Many bloggers and YouTubers like to participate in something called a "haul", which is basically them sharing their favorite products and finds at specific stores, etc. I thought that it might be a good time to share a bit about post-Christmas decor shopping!

Today Walter (the boyfriend) suggested that we go to Target. As he isn't one to typically request a shopping trip, and I'm never going to turn down a trip to Target, I quickly threw on some jeans, a sweater, and a hat and we were off to start our adventure! (photos below)

Target

Target is one of my favorite places to shop when they clearance out holiday offerings. After the regulatory iced coffee from Starbucks (yes, I am that basic), we made our way back to what remained of the holiday display. This year's remnants were rich in Magnolia's Hearth & Hand Christmas decor! We picked up:

  • a cute wreath that we've been eyeing since they originally dropped their collection a few years ago. (only $17.49)

  • a trio of small faux potted Christmas trees ($2.49 each) - shop

  • a rustic wood reindeer sign that pairs well with my new wood and black holiday aesthetic. ($7.49) - shop

Kirkland's

If you give a Walter a Target, he will request a Kirklands and an At Home. In the post-holiday spirit, I caved and we made our way to our next stop... Kirkland's. If you haven't stopped by in a while, Kirkland's has REALLY upped their game when it comes to home decor. It seems to be more aimed at the modern farmhouse style, while still offering the quintessential Kirkland's metal wall decor that all of our Aunt's own. They had a very small selection of Christmas decor at 75% off, so we picked up:

  • six beautiful green Christmas ornaments. We are looking at fusing a dark green into our magnolia tree that favors gold, cream, and wood. ($1.75 each)

  • A black woven tree skirt ($12.49)

At Home

Our final stop was the store that causes me a great amount of stress, mainly because it will never outdo it's predecessor Garden Ridge. In their modest selection of 60% off products, we found:

  • a few packs of classic (red, green, and gold) Christmas ornaments ($5.20 each)

  • three large gold ornate Christmas ornaments for the magnolia tree ($3.29 each)

  • a few other holiday decorations

All in all, I share this to show you the things that I picked up, but also that you should definitely take a peek at your local stores to see what you can swipe in holiday home decor at a fraction of the price!

Thanks for taking this trip with me!
